An experimental investigation of the competition impact on risk attitude

To study whether competition in uences risk attitude of people, the experiment is put forward. This paper firstly tested the subjects' risk attitudes in a general state without competition through a gambling experiment, then made a simulation on the subjects' attitudes in competition environment through coordination game, and furthermore studied how competition in uences the subjects' risk attitudes. The results show that competition affects the subjects' risk attitudes in different ways. Therefore, both of the general gambling methods and competition in uence should be considered to obtain utility function exactly.
