摘要

Concatenated chirped fiber Bragg grating (CBG) has been used to compensate for the dispersion in an optical-fiber communication system. Dispersion compensation fiber (DCF) is replaced with CBG in normalized sections of a 10-Gbit/s dispersion-managed system over 800 km. The performance of this system was improved by adding an optical filter behind the CBG in each normalized section.
