摘要
The photoexcitation and photoionization of the dichloro-difluoromethane. CF2Cl2, molecule have been studied for photons with energies around the Cl K edge at 2829.6 eV, using time-of-flight multicoincidence techniques with synchrotron radiation. Total and partial photoion yields for the fragmentation products have been recorded as a function of the incident photon energy. The atomic chlorine ion. Cl+, has the greatest intensity below the Cl K edge, while the fluorine ion. F+, dominates the mass spectra above the resonance. It is shown that the CF2Cl2 molecule undergoes a complete break up with the formation of doubly charged C2+, Cl2+, and F2+ fragments.
