In the title compound, C(10)H(8)ClNO(2), the dihedral angle between the aromatic benzene ring and the imide segment is 69.5 (1)degrees. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked by very weak C-H center dot center dot center dot pi interactions along the [001] direction.
