摘要

SSR-FEM is more and more widely used in soil slope stability analysis. Nonetheless, failure criteria of slope in SSR-FEM are still not unified, which restricts the development of SSR-FEM in engineering. Three kinds of failure criteria are most widely used in SSR-FEM: numerical calculation convergence criterion, the abruptness of a characteristic nodal displacement criterion and the connectivity of plastic zone in the slope criterion. Based on a soil slope model by FLAC, this paper details the advantages, disadvantages and applicable conditions of the three failure criteria. Then a modified failure criterion is proposed and its advantages are proved. In the end, through analyzing how to choose soil slopes'failure criteria, this paper has provided references for failure criteria's unifying and selecting when calculate soil slope's safety factor.
