A New Biphenylpropanoid from Hawk Tea

A new biphenylpropanoid, named 1-(3',4'-methylenedioxypheny1)-3-(4",6"-dimethoxy-2"-hydroxyphenyl)propan2-one (1), and other five known compounds were isolated from the Hawk tea source of Litsea coreana. The structure of the new compound was established by means of HR-ESIMS, 1D and 2D NMR.
