摘要

Based on combining micromechanism and macro-characteristic, statistical characteristics of semi-solid materials microstructure when partial remelting, such as size distributions and volume percent distributions of solid particles, are mainly investigated. Theoretical size distributions of solid particles are lognormal distributions, which is in agreement with experimental data. Volume percent distributions of solid particles are gauss distributions. The relation between probability density function of equivalent diameters of solid particles and heating temperature is discussed. It is shown that mean and max value of density function of size distributions increases with that of heating temperature, whereas variance decreases. Mean and max value of density function of volume percent distributions increases and variance decreases with the decrease of heating temperature decreasing when the volume of specimen is constant. However, the max value increases but variance decreases along with the increase of volume of specimen when heating temperature is constant.
