摘要

Stacked sections are almost always the first available interpretable images of the subsurface, and the stack is an important step to construct stacked sections within the seismic data processing flow. This paper introduces an extended stacking method-common reflection surface (CRS) stack to enhance the quality of seismic data. The theory and workflow of CRS stack are also described. The CRS stack method can produce reliable stacked sections with an excellent signal-to-noise ratio and the best illumination for the reflecting interface in the subsurface. We designed several 2D synthetic seismic models to verify this method. The results of synthetic examples show that this technique can produce stacked section with high signal-to-noise ratio and enhanced consistence of reflection event, and it is robust in the presence of noise. The results reveal that the CRS stack is a promising method of seismic data processing.
