摘要
This research attempts to analyse different kinds of pro-environmental behaviours from the perspectives of construction practitioners, develop a valid and reliable scale that can be used to determine it, and analyse factors influencing pro-environmental behaviours. Through the structural equation modelling, it was found in this study that environmental beliefs were not sufficient to influence the surveyed construction practitioners pro-environmental behaviours via their environmental passion. It was also found environmental norms had a significant influence on the surveyed construction practitioners environmental passion and then on their pro-environmental behaviours. Therefore, it is suggested that, based on the existing foundation of environmental education, more efforts should be invested in enhancing practitioners' knowledge of environmental protection and their perceptions of its values in order to promote their pro-environmental behaviours.
