摘要

The Health Level-7 (HL7) is a set of recommended international standards for the transfer of clinical information relating to patient health and biometrics. However, the use of HL7 messages to transfer continuous biometric signal data is inefficient because of duplication, which leads to increased message lengths and longer creation times. In this paper, we propose a lightweight interface that converts continuous data to the HL7 message format to maintain interoperability, while eliminating redundant data by means of a de-duplication algorithm as well as normalizing data into a standard format through feature scaling. Our interface reduces the time required to create messages by 51%, and reduces the required space to store them.
