The integrated enterprise server NX7700i/5080H-64 offers a high-performance, high-reliability and highly flexible environment using the original "A(3) chipset" and enables the vision of "REAL IT PLATFORM." This paper introduces the NEC designed "A(3) chipset" and the technologies incorporated in a scalable, reliable, and flexible system implemented using Dual-Core Intel Itanium2 processors.
