摘要
We show that, in an inner product space H, the inequality 1/2 [parallel to x parallel to parallel to y parallel to + vertical bar < x,y >vertical bar] >= vertical bar < Px,y >vertical bar is true for any vectors x, y and a projection P : H -> H. Applications to norm and numerical radius inequalities of two bounded operators are given.
