摘要
Gold nanorods were employed as optical probes to detect glucose due to the sensitivity of their strong longitudinal plasmon band (LPB) on H2O2. H2O2 play the part to alter gold nanorods morphological characters, which may certainly provide an intuitive method for us to gauge the amount of glucose. Here, a simple, selective and sensitive plasmonic sensing method for determination of glucose was formed based on the change of LBP of Au nanorods. The CTAB participated oxidization makes H2O2 etch Au nanorods along the long axes. Furthermore, the different shift of Au nanorods under amount-varying glucose suggests that the most sensitive response of the reaction is concentration-dependent.
