Analytical method for scattering of a wave energy device consisting of dual rectangular cylinders and wave force properties

Firstly, by use of an Eigen function expansion method the scattering problem for the wave energy device consisting of dual rectangular cylinders due to a plane incident wave was solved, a new analytical expression for the diffraction velocity potential was obtained and then the wave excitation force was calculated by the known incident wave potential and the diffraction potential;Secondly, to verify the correctness of the method, a numerical method was used to recomputed the same example and the obtained results were in good accordance, which shows that the present method is correct;lastly, the wave force properties with distance of the dual rectangular cylinders were studied.
