摘要

This article concerns the Schrodinger equation -Delta + V(x)u - f(x, u), for x is an element of R-N, u(x) -> 0, as vertical bar x vertical bar -> infinity, where V and f are periodic in x, and 0 is a boundary point of the spectrum sigma(-Delta+ V). Assuming that f(x,u) is asymptotically linear as vertical bar u vertical bar -> infinity, existence of a ground state solution is established using some new techniques.
