The amino-functionalized MWCNT can be used as a nanocomposite template to separately load Ni and Cu nanoparticles, promising an efficient methanol sensor due to its high sensitivity (5 x 10(4) mu A mM(-1) cm(-2)) and high selectivity (no ethanol interference).
