摘要
Mechanical properties of cellular foams depend mostly on their relative densities as a direct consequence of the manufacturing technology employed. In this paper a comparison is carried out based on several predictions from the most used theoretical models in literature and experimental result for the Young modulus and Poisson ratio. Discrepancies among the predicted and retrieved values were provided with respect to the relative densities and attempts to identify the main influencing factors will be carried out.
