摘要

In this paper, an efficient link bandwidth design method for the Network-on-Chip (NoC) is proposed to satisfy NoC performance requirements with less bandwidth cost. First, the relationship between link bandwidth and the data delay is constructed. Then, a bandwidth allocation method is proposed to assign proper bandwidth to each link in NoC. Finally, the effectiveness of our method is validated through simulation. The simulation results show that the NoC can satisfy the system performance requirements after using our bandwidth allocation method. Moreover, compared with the NoC with uniform link bandwidth, our method can reduce the cost of link bandwidth.
