摘要
Percutaneous biopsies of renal allografts are performed frequently, mostly for clinical indications and occasionally as protocol biopsies in some transplant centers. A rare complication of percutaneous needle biopsy is the development of a subcapsular hematoma, also known as Page kidney. The authors report such a case in a renal allograft following biopsy. What makes this case remarkable is the spontaneous resolution of the hematoma without surgical intervention, with reasonable recovery of allograft function, allowing cessation of dialysis.
