摘要

A formulation of the impedance boundary condition (IBC) is derived, which can be used in split-step parabolic wave equation solvers to accurately represent an interface with arbitrary dielectric properties. The approach relies on ensuring that the plane-wave decomposition of the field satisfies the appropriate IBC for each spectral component. Numerical experiments illustrating the robustness of the approach for low-contrast interfaces and angles-of-incidence near the Brewster angle are presented.
