摘要
A new red phosphor, La2SrB10O19:Eu3+ (LSB:Eu) has been prepared by solid-state reaction. The excitation and emission spectra of LSB:Eu have been measured. There exist two strong absorption bands at around 395 nm (F-7(0)-L-5(6)) and 465 nm (F-7(0)-> D-5(2)), which are consistent with the output wavelengths of GaN-based LEDs. The dominant transition of Eu3+ in LSB is the electric dipole transition D-5(0)-F-7(2) with the red emission around 616 nm. Eu3+ ions occupy both La3+ and Ca2+ sites in LSB. The optimum concentration for Eu3+ in LSB is 30 mol%.
