摘要

Rumors spread like the infectious process of the epidemic, quickly starting from the individual and evolving to a certain size, and they can even cause collective panics. Compared with general rumor propagation, malicious rumor propagation can lead to a larger influence scope and a faster diffusion velocity. For these features, a rumor propagation model dividing spreaders into malicious spreaders and ordinary spreaders is proposed. In addition, the situation that people show a hesitation after hearing rumors is also considered. The simulation results show that the malicious spreaders can make the rumor propagation cycle shorter, and determine the parameters that can influence the rumor propagation cycle. From the effect of the two immunization strategies on the proposed model, the targeted immunization for the malicious spreaders is more effective than the random immunization for the ignorant.
