摘要

The classical numerical simulation of enclosed square cavity natural convection is verified firstly. Then the upside air-supply bottom-side air-return symmetric ventilation pattern is simulated numerically under different conditions. It concludes that this ventilation pattern could be optimum and bifurcation phenomena could exist under certain conditions. And that natural convection could be neglected when the value of dimensionless number Gr/Re is less than 5 or microgravity is less than 10-3 g0. It suggests that air-supply angle could choose between 30 and 60, and at angle 45, the field velocity is maximum and air-supply velocity less than 1 m/s could be optimum.
