In the present article in Multidisciplinary Respiratory Medicine we present: Adult HERMES:criteria for accreditation of ERS European training centres in adult respiratory medicine. This document has been translated wholly into italian for AIMAR's members. The article follows strictly ERS's original document and is structured in two parts: a first part where there is the historical background and the methodological approch used by the HERMES Task Force in formulating the criteria for accreditation, and a second part that contains all the criteria for accreditation.
