Unsymmetrical starburst triarylamines: synthesis, properties, and characteristics of OFETs

Functionalized triarylamines were constructed through Suzuki coupling for organic field effect transistor (OFET) applications. Easy solution processable OFETs yielded a good field effect mobility of up to 15 x 10(-2) cm(2) V-1 s(-1). The ON/OFF ratio had a magnitude of 10(7), enabling the molecules to be promising electronic materials.
