摘要

Wavelength conversion based on four-wave mixing in a photonic crystal fiber is investigated, and its conversion efficiency is also tested. A flat positive dispersion curve and high nonlinear coefficient over the C-L band range is used to analyze the wavelength conversion theory based on four-wave mixing, the simulation of wavelength conversion system is made according to the theory, and an experiment setup is designed to test and verify the theory and the simulation. The experimental results confirm the theoretical arithmetic and system simulation. The results on 1540 nm, 1545 nm and 1550 nm-band give an efficiency of -17.381 dB, -16.897 dB and -17.787 dB, with a 3 dB bandwidth of 18 nm, 17 nm and 13 nm respectively.
