摘要

In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Zn-3(C11H7O8)(2)( H2O)(10)]center dot 2H(2)O, the trianionic carboxylate unit uses one oxyacetate -OCH2CO2- arm to chelate a Zn atom through the ether and carboxylate O atoms. The other oxyacetate arm is free; the -CO2- end has a formal negative charge. The central Zn atom lies on a special position of site symmetry (1) over bar. The uncoordinated water molecules form a three-dimensional hydrogen-bonded network. One solvent water molecule is disordered over two positions in a 2:1 ratio.
