摘要
One-step procedure for the synthesis of 2-oxazolidinones from ethylene carbonate and primary aryl amines in the presence of amine catalysts was described. Various reaction parameters including catalyst, temperature, reaction time, solvent and the amount of catalyst were investigated. Excellent results were obtained using DBU as catalyst at 100 degrees C within 2 h free of solvent.
