摘要
Tracheobronchomegaly (Mounier-Kuhn syndrome) is a rare condition. The problems with airway management in patients with tracheobronchomegaly undergoing different surgical procedures are well known and delineated in the available literature. In our case report we describe the challenging situation of airway-management for surgical repair of tracheobronchomegaly requiring one-lung ventilation. For the first time, the successful use of high-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV) in such a case is reported.
