摘要

This paper focuses on the influent variation of wastewater treatment plant (WWTP), with the case study of Dadukou WWTP at Chongqing of China. The characteristic and regularity of influent were investigated through statistical analysis of 2 year routine monitoring data and additional measurement data. The influent amount and quality indices were statistically accorded with the normal distribution function. Based on the First-order Fourier series, an influent model was developed to include the effect of season (temperature), weather (raining or not), and day type (holiday or not). The usability of the model is indicated by the correlated coefficient of higher than 0.8 between the measured and modeled results. The hourly influent data during any day are formed from the model, based on which the operational strategy of WWTP could be optimized through the scenario simulation.
