摘要

Different properties of the leather face side are obtained in the technological process of processing raw hides into finished leather. Absorption property of near-infrared light is added to the usual properties of the leather front side, such as higher or lower brightness, resistance to mechanical damage, moisture and light and color uniformity. Numerical sizes of light reflection in the visual and near-infrared spectrum (NIR) were determined for dyes based on casein pigments. By final dyeing and control in the infrared spectrum, it is possible to achieve the feature of invisible leather marking, and thus the design basis of hidden information on leather products. The reflection of the NIR spectrum was determined for today's coatings, and the method of mixing dyes with targeted properties in certain states in the visible and infrared spectrum was introduced. The leather face side with designed properties in the NIR spectrum carries information that helps in determining and facilitates problems of originality and traceability of processing procedures, from the first processes to the finished product.
