摘要
A porous alumina (PA) membrane embedded with single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) can be used as a nanostructured heat sink that can be attached to SWCNT saturation absorption (SA) devices. In this study, we showed that a large number of SWCNTs can be embedded into nanopores of PA by subjecting the PA membrane to electrophoresis. We found that under the application of a dc voltage of 5 V for 5 h, a sufficient number of SWCNTs were embedded into PA with a pore diameter of 200 nm. Moreover, by electrophoresis, the SWCNTs could be successfully embedded into extremely small nanopores with a diameter of 20 nm.
