Determination of Ceftriaxone Sodium by Fluorescence Probes of L-Cysteine Capped ZnS Quantum Dots

摘要

L-cysteine capped ZnS (L-Cys-ZnS) quantum dots (QDs) were successfully prepared by wet chemical route, which were characterized by atomic force microscope, X-ray diffraction, infrared spectrometry, ultraviolet and fluorescent spectrometry. And, these QDs were used as fluorescent probe to detect ceftriaxone sodium (CRO). Under the optimal conditions, fluorescene quenching intensity increased linearly with CRO concentration in the range from 6 to 20 mg/L with the detection of limit was 0.05 mg/L, and the linear equation was Delta F = 111.93 + 6.71C (r = 0.9959). Further, possible mechanism of the interaction between L-Cys-ZnS QDs and CRO was discussed, and binding constant and sites were calculated. This method to detect CRO was simple and rapidly with high sensitivity.
