摘要

In this paper, a coupling algorithm which combines the advantages of MBM (Moving Boundary Method) and FVM (Finite Volume Method) is presented. In this algorithm, the heat exchanger is divided into MB cells on the basis of the heat transfer rate and inlet parameters of HSF and CSF, and then FVM is used to solve each MB cell to obtain the heat transfer area required for MB cells. When the heat transfer area required for each MB cell is obtained, the residual function based on the ratio of the required to the available heat transfer area of the heat exchanger is derived, and then Brent's method is used to adjust the heat transfer rate for the derived residual function to be zero. The MB-FV coupling algorithm is suitable for solving the heat exchanger with or without supercritical fluids, which not only extends the application range of the original MBM, but also increases the accuracy of the heat exchanger computational results.
