摘要
We show that each separable complete metric space which contains isometric copies of every countable complete metric space is isometrically universal for all separable metric spaces. In particular, any separable complete metric space containing isometric copies of every zero-dimensional separable complete metric space is uncountable-dimensional, which answers some questions by S. D. Iliadis.
