A Comparative Analysis of Students' Satisfaction with Practical Teaching of Higher Education: Minjiang University and Chung Hua University

The cooperative education between Fujian and Taiwan is a new educational mode, but there are many differences in practical teaching of Chinese Mainlad Universities and Taiwan Universities. This study aimed to compare the students' satisfaction with practical teaching of Minjiang University and Chung Hua University. A satisfaction survey design with five-level scale was used to obtain the original sampling data. A total of 120 students of cooperative education project cross strait participated in this study, and finally the number of questionnaires retuned was 102 (returned rate is 85%). In order to compare the students' satisfaction on practical teaching, an assessment index system is composed of 13 items, and four factors were extracted with factor analysis method. The cumulative of the extracted four factors reach 85.549%. Moreover, the total score of Minjiang University is 9.627 and Chung Hua University is 11.766. The results reveal that the students are more satisfied with the practical teaching of Chung Hua University, and the results will provide a valuable reference for the reform of higher education in Minjiang University.
