摘要

With the rapid development of society, more and more soils are polluted by heavy metals, it lead to the change in soil engineering properties. In engineering practice, engineers usually use additives to solidify/stabilize (s/s) heavy metal contaminated soils. This paper studies on the engineering properties of heavy metal contaminated soils. A systemic experiment program was performed on the Zn2- and Pb2+ contaminated soils solidified/stabilized (s/s) with cement. Test results show that the strength of soils decreased when contaminated by heavy metal. The strength of solidified/stabilized (s/s) contaminated soils increased with the increase in curing time and cement content. It is notified that a lower heavy metal content can promote the strength of solidified/stabilized contaminated soils.
