摘要
In the title complex, [Mn(C17H14Br2N2O2)Cl(H2O)], the Mn-III ion is six-coordinated by the tetradentate N,N '-bis(5-bromo-salicylidene)1,3-diiminopropane dianion (Brsalpn), Cl and water ligands in a distorted octahedral geometry. The complexes are assembled through intermolecular hydrogen bonds and pi-pi interactions (the centroid-centroid distance is 3.844 A and the dihedral angle between the ring planes is 13.5 degrees) along the c axis.
