摘要

A port-selective switching (PSS) coil that has multiple terminations on a typical spiral is proposed for an adjustable wireless power transfer system. The impedance of the coil can be changed by selecting a different input/output port location, which enables the coil system to be adjustable. A PSS coil that has five switches is fabricated. The transfer range at which efficiency exceeds 50% increases by 2.5 times for the single-sided PSS system and by 5.5 times for the double-sided PSS system compared with the conventional system.
