A Study on the Chinese Background Elements in American Animated Films

In recent years, American animated films with Chinese elements as the background have got the strong reaction in the Chinese film market, and have created good box office results. Therefore, the analysis of Chinese background elements in American animated films was put forward in this paper. In this paper, first of all, the application of Chinese background elements in American animated films and the differences in the application of Chinese elements between China and America were expounded in detail. With the use of the method of questionnaire, a research was carried out in this paper. The results of the survey show that American animated films not only correctly maintained the characteristics of Chinese elements, but also made some innovations to meet the needs of the Chinese audience, so some suggestions towards Chinese animated films were put forward.
