In the crystal structure of the title compound, C12H6Br2S3, the molecules are planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.06 angstrom). Consecutive molecules do not stack in a planar fashion. There is an angle of 81.7 (12)degrees between the planes of the closest molecules.
